Hi! I'm Shawntá (Shawn - tay), the founder of “BY SHAWNTÁ JOHNS” in LONG BEACH, CALIFORNIA!
I’m originally from Annapolis, MD but am now based in Long Beach, serving L.A. and Orange County. I enjoy spending time with family, being outdoors, thrifting and my guilty pleasure is reality television. I love my family, wine and seafood more than anything else!
I'm Paul Mitchell educated and a licensed cosmetologist in California and Maryland. I have a passion for curly hair and extensions. I am a certified Deva Inspired stylist and am well versed in a wide range of extension methods.
I'm a strong advocate of continual education and strive to stay at the forefront of my field with my knowledge of new products and services. I stay up to date on all the latest trends so that I can give you exactly the look you want.
